| Notwithstanding his strong links with Stone Love, Richie Feelings is enjoying the creative freedom he has to do his own thing. He is one of the main forces behind the weekly Thursday event, Bembe, he has dozens of gigs which he will be doing solo across the Caribbean and Europe, and he is pressing ahead with his pet project, Richie Feelings Music Group for Youths. |
Yep, things are definitely looking good for Richie Feelings. |
| “I have the USA locked, I will be going to Italy in July, it will be my first time there, a lot of doors have opened up for me, the demand for me is very high out there,” the man who penned the Dancing Class hit in 2004 which was #1 in Canada and Japan, said. |
| Just a few years ago, Richie Feelings was a bin assistant at National Bakery for almost seven years, now he is easily one of the top five selectors in the island. |

Mi have two riddims, a one-drop name Eyewater with Beenie, Gyptian, Perfect, Singer Jay, Mitch, Anthony B and another dancehall riddim. What I am trying to do is create a new generation of artiste and selectors, I want to be an inspiration for the younger yutes,” the 29 year-old selector who hails from the troubled community of Arnett Gardens, said. |
